HOW TO OPEN KEURIG COFFEE MACHINE

It appears that the brewing system of the Keurig coffee machine has a problem. After a while, it looks like a deposit of lime or other contaminants is preventing the Keurig from brewing the 35cl. It takes longer, makes more noise, and produces an average of 12 cl or less of coffee. This quick tutorial just wants to help you solve that problem. The Keurig in this tutorial was in a workshop and was therefore used quite often and not necessarily in the best conditions.

Open the Keurig fully to remove the K-cup holder.

The K-cup holder pulls straight up. It is possible that some fasteners are resistant. Crumbly residue is actually leftover coffee from reusable K-cup filters.

2ND STEP

Once the K-cup is removed, clean it with hot water as needed.

At the bottom of the K-cup, there is a sharp needle. So you can use it to pierce the capsules. On the side, there is a small hole. Use a paper clip (or similar object) and insert it into this hole to remove any build-up of coffee grounds.

Now it’s time to clean the needle at the top. It’s more complicated, because it’s sort of harder to access the sides of the needle. Three holes surround the needle. Open the Keurig fully and use a paperclip (or something similar) again.

The next step is to remove the top cover to access the K-cup. Open the Keurig by removing the two Phillips head screws that hold it in place.

Lift the cover up and toward you to remove it.

STEP 5

the kettle to the K-Cup goes through a water pipe

The water line from the kettle to the K-Cup goes through a water pipe through a non-return valve.

Remove the two small screws holding the water inlet pipe in place.

Remove the water line from the fitting above the K-cup needle. It is a simple contact.

Then remove the straps. (This step is not necessary.) Just remove the other end of the hose going to the pump. You may need a flat screwdriver to pry up the hose by pulling on it.

STEP 6

Test the check valve. Blowing from the side of the kettle should open the flapper. Repeat the operation several times to remove all the sediment present. It might also be helpful to put hot water on the side of the K-cup and shake. But, once everything has been cleaned, reinstall the valve and straps. Go up the Keurig.

CONCLUSION:

We need to drink coffee for our good health.

This was awesome and fixed the problem. Thank you very much, very clear detailed instructions. Please follow how to open and clean the Keurig coffee machine instructions.

Problem solved. I think it was actually the first solution to clearing the air slot in the lower needle that did the trick. Thanks! You save $ 179.00 from not buying a new machine. 😉

What if you can’t blow air into the valve? Does that mean you have a faulty valve and need to replace the whole machine?
